Short description of the intervention
The re-urbanization of the Poligono de Levante neighbourhood included the creation of two large urban parks to form a green area of 47 722 m2 and several environmental considerations such as a bridge for fauna (Ref 1), as it is a strategical zone of Palma . It is a combination of different initiatives, some of which include green elements (Ref 1 and Ref 3).

Improve the Poligono Levant neighborhood through a series of environmental, as well as some other social improvements: the construction of new streets and green areas in the Poligono Levant neighborhood. (ref 1)

Description of environmental benefits
The creation of two green public areas, which will serve as part of the re-urbanization of the Levant Polygon area increased both the availability and access to public green space. As a result, there will be an increase in the number of trees, as well as the connection of the urban area with a green space (Ref 1). Also, there will be an improvement of the irrigation system (Ref 3).

The project had an impact on introducing investment in a low-income area of Mallorca (Ref 2 and 3).
Description of social and cultural benefits
The creation of green spaces for a low-income area, which is focused on developing women's social inclusion, had a positive impact in availability and access to public green space. (Ref 2). Specifically, there is a program to support women against gender violence (Ref 3). Also, there is better infrastructure for children now to play (Ref 3).
