Short description of the intervention
FutureBuilt is a program running between 2010-2020, with expectations to continue from 2021-2030 (Ref. 9). One of its projects consists of the construction of a large greenhouse in between a housing complex in an old industrial building. The greenhouse will be the centre of the building and provide a Mediterranean climate with a lot of green facades, green roofs and indoor vertical greeneries (Ref. 1). The nave of the complex will become a greenhouse and the natural gathering point for the residents. (Ref. 1, 3)

-Stimulate innovation and learning among developers, architects, consultants, contractors, municipalities and users (Ref. 9)
Cultural Heritage:
The project aims for the preservation of a historic industrial building that dates back to 1876 to a modern, low-carbon housing complex with a large greenhouse as the central meeting point of the building (Ref. 8).

Please specify novelty level of the innovation
No reference is made to another similar project.
Please specify Replicability/Transferability
FutureBuilt projects are made to be inspiring and transferable to others disciplines or municipalities. FutureBuilt is a collaboration model that has awakened both national and international attention. The concept of working with "role-model" projects is a highly transferable method, which have resulted in many inquiries from other municipalities/cities/regions in Norway who wants to learn from FutureBuilt and its projects. Similarly, it is an increasing interest internationally from foreign actors who want to learn how FutureBuilt as a method have given results. To meet this demand, the FutureBuilt program spread experiences in the following ways:
1) Documentation online both in Norwegian and English, 2) Receive visits, 3) Organize visits of promotional projects, 4) Contribute with lectures both in Norwegian and international context and 5) Through our Annual FutureBuilt conference which is streamed online and thus publicly available (Ref. 5)

Comments and notes
Comments
As the project is in an early stage, data on actual performance, as well as other important data were difficult to obtain. In general, there are much more comprehensive information about the whole FutureBuilt program, than for I love Nydalen/Nydalsveien 32.

As of 2020, project still seems to be ongoing. No information was found regarding the progress of the project.

Section 6/ Monitoring Tool & Impact Assessment Mechanism: ‘klimagassregnskap.no
The tool klimagassregnskap.no has been replaced by a new solution.’ I was unable to find this new solution, and thus removed the link for the web-based monitoring tool and for the impact assessment mechanism.
Additional insights
section 4 enablers: Green and blue-green infrastructure is central in several policies, strategies and plans in Oslo, but they are not always specifically GI/BI/NBS plans
Oslo is a very progressive city when it comes to climate change adaption and sustainability. However, no specific city network focused on climate change was found, but their work on climate change adaption is rather embedded in visions and strategies of most businesses/agencies/networks and projects
section 4/enablers:
Oslo has several strategies involving GI/BI such as the: Climate and Energy Strategy for Oslo; A Green Capital: Eco-efficiency in the City of Oslo; Urban Ecology Program 2011-2026; The Urban Development of Oslo & Climate Change Adaptation Strategy for the City of Oslo. However, none of the above have been specifically expressed as enablers for the intervention.
