Goals of the intervention
The intervention identifies several main goals:
1) To introduce beehives in the city centre;
2) To educate the society about the bees and enhance the pro-ecological attitudes of the population;
3) To promote the institutions which have introduced the NBS [3,4,6].

Quantitative targets
To establish 10 to 12 beehives with different species of bees - to educate the society about the variety of bees - on the roof of the Centre for the Meetings of Cultures [6]. To establish 2 apiaries on the roof of the Catholic University of Lublin [6].

Implementation activities
-4 beehives were put on the roof of the Catholic University of Lublin with around 100.000 bees in each [2]
-12 beehives were put on the roof of the Centre for the Meetings of Cultures with around 40-50.000 bees in each [1]
-The first honey harvest took place at the Catholic University of Lublin in 2016 and around 130 kg of honey was collected [5]
-Some educational workshops and activities were conducted at both institutions [6]
