Impacts, benefits
Description of environmental benefits
This NBS is an annual event, happening every year on March 21st. No reports were found for the 2017 year, however before implementation expectations included carbon sequestration and an increase in green space through the no of trees planted (6). It is worth mentioning, for comparative purposes, that in 2018 one of the impacts mentioned was that 1000 adult trees absorb about 6000 kg of CO2 (carbon dioxide) and in 2018 they planted 284 trees (8)
Economic impacts
Description of economic benefits
Unknown
Description of social and cultural benefits
